Pontefract Racecourse boasts a stunning parkland location with Pontefract Park contained within the course boundary. Easily accessible, being just half a mile from junction 32 off the M62, the racecourse is ideally situated with close links to both the M1 and the A1.
The team at the Racecourse will guide you through your booking over the phone or via email. For conferences or events UP TO 30 people, our onsite catering team, Huggamug, will look after your event. Our award-winning catering partners, CGC Event Caterers, cater for groups OVER 30 PEOPLE. Both the Racecourse team and CGC Event Caterers understand the importance of clear communication, great service and attention to detail to ensure your event is a success.

Events take place in the Park throughout the year. The Park itself is owned and run by Wakefield Council and all non raceday events are run by them.

At Pontefract Racecourse we’re holding two of our popular party nights, featuring a glass of Prosecco on arrival, a delicious three course festive meal and a DJ to keep you dancing into the night. Choose from Friday 8th or Saturday 9th December to bring your party to our party.
Priced at £44.95 per person, our party nights are ideal for your work do, your running club or yoga do, your friends’ night out, you name it. Small parties and large parties, all are welcome.
