There are a number of different options for eating and drinking at the Racecourse.
From the exclusivity and luxury of the Private Boxes to Yorkshire’s famous Fish & Chips from one of the mobile units around the Racecourse. From a glass of Champagne in the Champagne Bar to a pint of good old Yorkshire bitter in the Picnic Enclosure.

There are several different dining options at Pontefract Racecourse including The Park Suite or Dine & View, to the more casual Self Service Restaurant in the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure.
The Park Suite in the Premier Enclosure offers you a reserved table for the whole meeting. With tables overlooking the Winning Post or the Parade Ring, it’s the ideal choice for those who would like to have a base for the day, whilst enjoying exquisite cuisine.

The Park Suite is £98 for Midweek/ Monday Evening Fixtures, £102 on Sunday’s, £106 on Friday Evening’s and £108 on Ladies Day. For under 18’s the Park Suite is £37.50 across all meetings.

Annual Badge Holders and Owners & Trainers with runners on the day can obtain a discount on the Park Suite Restaurant by calling the Racecourse on 01977 781307 to book their table.
The Premier Dining Room is located in the Main Stand and has tables overlooking the Finishing Straight and the Parade Ring.
Whilst you do not have the table for the full afternoon, it means that you can enjoy some excellent food and then get straight out to the Parade Ring and on to the Course so that you don’t miss a minute of the equine action!

The only restaurant in the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure is the Paddock Dining Room, located on the top floor of the Main Stand.

The ‘Pizza In The Paddock’ Bar offer freshly cooked pizzas and craft ale. The bar also has its own large terraced area offering racegoers more seating and a fantastic alternative location to watch the racing from.
The fabulous new Pavilion Cafe is open in the Picnic Enclosure.
In a previous life, the Pavilion Cafe was initially a betting office but was fully renovated and refurbished during 2020 and now provides one of the best appointed cafes in any Picnic Enclosure at any racecourse.
With hot and cold snacks available and a fully licenced bar, the Pavilion has its own terrace, toilets and tote betting facilities and provides Picnic Enclosure racegoers with a lovely new facility to enjoy the racing from.
There are several food outlets and bars throughout the entire Racecourse serving sandwiches and hot snacks.
There are also fast food outlets located in the Grandstand & Paddock and Picnic Enclosures.
