Wall of Fame

During the 2022 Racing Season, Pontefract Racecourse are running a promotion entitled ‘The Wall of Fame’.

The ‘Wall of Fame’ consists of a mosaic of pictures of people who attended race meetings at Pontefract in 2021. The mosaic is on the Wall in the Paddock Lounge Bar and can be view on this Website.

Anyone who can identify themselves on the mosaic can enter a draw by presenting themselves at the Raceday Office on a raceday and identifying the grid reference on the mosaic in which they appear. They will then be entered into a draw on that day for a prize subject to these Terms and Conditions.

The ‘Wall of Fame’ is run solely by us and not by any third party.

When you enter Pontefract Racecourse, you will be subject (in addition to these Terms and Conditions) to all our Terms and Conditions of Entry which are also available on this website.

Prizes can only be claimed on the Racecourse on a Raceday in the calendar year in which the promotion takes place by the person who identifies themself on the Wall of Fame. Prizes CANNOT be claimed by a third party.

There is no cash alternative for any prize offered for the Wall of Fame promotion, nor can any prizes awarded be exchanged for any other prize.

Only one prize can be claimed per person in any calendar year.

Prizes will be awarded to those who appear on the Wall of Fame at the time the prize is claimed. Once the pictures are changed, anyone who previously appeared on the Wall (but no longer does so) will not be eligible to claim a prize.

All decisions by the Racecourse Management in relation to this promotion will be final and binding on all persons taking part in it.
