WIMBLEDON DAY

Wimbledon Day is on Monday afternoon 28th June 2010

The first race is 2.15pm and the last race is currently timed for 5.15pm

Each year, Pontefract has a fixture that clashes with Wimbledon. So, in the unlikely event that there's a Brit playing on that day (!), we decided to host our very own Wimbledon Day.

Throughout the meeting, there will be dedicated tv screens showing the tennis in the Premier Sports Cafe Bar located on the Ground Floor of the Dalby Stand. This bar is open to all Premier Stand badge holders.

There will be a Wimbledon Theme to the day with Strawberries and Cream promotions and Pimms stalls.

in 2010, we are combining Wimbledon Day with Rugby League Day! Eorl Crabtree and Matt Diskin are having testimonial days at the Racecourse - so come down and meet the players and have a great day out.
