WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE AREAS?
There are 4 different areas or 'Enclosures' at Pontefract.

The Premier Enclosure is £21 per person; the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure is £14 per person; the Silver Enclosure is £7 per person and the Picnic Enclosure is £5 person. Alternatively you can drive your car into the Picnic Enclosure and park on or near the rails for £12 - and this includes entrance for up to 4 adults in the car too!
Basically speaking, if you pay for the Premier Enclosure you will have the best restaurant facilities, the best viewing and a more 'exclusive' feel to your day out.
As you move into cheaper enclosures, you become a little further away from the winning post and you do not have quite the same number or standard of facilities.
The Grandstand & Paddock is the most popular Enclosure and has good viewing and decent food options.
