Once again, Pontefract will have a Stayers Championship in 2010 for all races run over a distance of more than 2 miles. Points will be awarded as follows:

Second 6 points
Third 4 points
Fourth 3 points

2. The Pontefract Marathon Handicap - Monday 19th April 2m5f (56-75)
3. The Tony Bethell Memorial Handicap - Monday Eve 7th June 2m1f (61-80)
4. The totepool Pontefract Cup Handicap - Sunday 20th June 2m2f (66-85)
5. The Frontline Complete Bathroom Handicap - Sunday 15th August 2m1f (51-70)
6. The Pontefract Stayers Championship Handicap - Thursday 16th September 2m1f (56-75)
7. The Phil Bull Trophy Conditions Stakes - Monday 4th October 2m2f
8. The toteexacta Bluff Cove Handicap - Monday 18th October 2m2f (56-75)

The owner, trainer and stable of the horse accumulating the most points will each receive a memento and £1,000.
