SINGLES NIGHT

Singles Night is on Monday Evening 7th June.

The first race is at 6.45pm and the last race is at 9.15pm

After the success of our first Singles Day in 2008, we decided to move the event to an evening in 2009 and we're sticking with it for 2010.

The format will be similar to last year - there'll be 2 Singles Bars; 1 in the Premier Enclosure and 1 in the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure. Each bar will operate a 'Traffic Light' Sticker system - wear a red sticker and you're not on the market, orange and you may be open to persuasion but wear a green sticker and you're good to go!

Each sticker will also be numbered. There'll be noticeboards in each bar where you'll be able to post messages for anyone that catches your eye.

Radio Aire will be on hand to make sure everything goes with a swing!

There'll also be a 'Blind Date' competition as well - two lucky couples picked at random will each win a meal for 2  - one at the Premier Inn and one at the Racecourse!

Importantly the Raceday is of course open to everyone - not just those who are single! There'll be 6 great races and music provided by the appropriately named Steve Love Band.

So, whether you're unlucky in love or not, come down to Pontefract on 7th June to join in the fun.
