PONTEFRACT'S GOT TALENT!
New in 2012, we have our Pontefract's Got Talent Night on Friday Evening 1st June!
Can you sing? Are you a comedian/comedienne? Can you dance? Do you have a tap dancing dog?
WHATEVER your talent, if you'd like to have the chance to be put through your paces in front of the Pontefract's Got Talent judges and perform after racing, then you need to get involved!
Send us a video, or pictures of your 'talent' to:
Your act should be about 2 minutes long.
The top 10 acts will then perform in front of our special panel of judges made up of a Dixie from Real Radio, a Pontefract journalist and Emma, a local actress and singer after racing on Friday Evening 1st June. Acts will need to provide their own backing tracks or let us know in plenty of time what they would like to perform to.
CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS ON FRIDAY 18TH MAY.
If you are one of the 10 chosen finalists on the night, then you and 2 guests will get free entry into the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure!
The winning contestant will win a VIP day out at the races for them and their family including a Private Hospitality Box at the races with food and a couple of bottles of Champagne thrown in! We'll also send off your application to Britain's Got Talent and do our very best to get you your big break!
