Family Tickets

On our Family Sundays (24th June, 29th July and 19th August in 2011), Pontefract Racecourse offer the Special Family Ticket.

This costs £20 and admits 2 adults and their children (under 18) into the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure (a great saving of £8!).

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FAMILY TICKET DOES NOT ADMIT INTO THE PICNIC ENCLOSURE CAR PARK.

FAMILY TICKET HOLDERS SHOULD PARK IN THE PARK ITSELF AND THEN USE THE GRANDSTAND AND PADDOCK ENCLOSURE TURNSTILES. ONCE IN THE RACECOURSE, FAMILY TICKET HOLDERS HAVE ACCESS TO THE PARADE RING AND GRANDSTAND AND PADDOCK ENCLOSURE ALONG WITH BEING ABLE TO ACCESS THE CHILDRENS ENTERTAINMENTS IN THE PICNIC ENCLOSURE.

Family tickets are available from the Racecourse Administration Offices Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm and on the Saturday the day before the raceday up to 1pm.  After this time they can be booked online until MIDNIGHT ON SATURDAY. They are NOT available on a raceday.

ANY LATE BOOKINGS (AFTER LAST POST ON A THURSDAY) MADE FOR A SUNDAY RACE MEETING CAN BE COLLECTED FROM THE RED 'INFORMATION' KIOSK ON THE MAIN DRIVE FROM 11.30AM ON SUNDAY MORNING

On Sundays we have a childrens funfair, marching band, face painting, creche, circus, free sweets or ice cream for kids (depending on the day), clowns and much more... not forgetting 7 great races as well!
